Welcome to my world of home fragrance! I’m Julie, the founder and maker behind By Julie Home Fragrance, and yes – I’m a complete candle addict with a long-standing obsession for all things leopard print.
Every product in my collection is lovingly handmade in small batches in my workshop in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne, using a 100% natural wax blend, Everything I make is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free, because I believe luxury shouldn’t come at the expense of kindness, also my products are from UK,
You’ll find my creations right here online, and in The Bay Emporium in Whitley Bay (a gorgeous little shop I share with two other talented crafters), and every Saturday at the Makers Market in the Killingworth Centre a great market that I also organise and run as well as take part in.
One thing I noticed in the candle world is the lack of choice when it comes to unisex fragrances and truly natural wax products. That’s what inspired me to create a range of candles and home fragrance items with deeper, richer scents that everyone can enjoy – regardless of gender.

Design and branding have always been just as important to me as fragrance. My love for leopard print started back in my teenage years, so it felt only right to make it part of my identity. Bold, glamorous, and a bit wild – just like my signature amber glass leopard-print containers, which pair beautifully with my fragrance range and complement any interior style.
