Candle Safety

Do not leave candles lit when you leave the room.Keep lit candles away from anything flammable.Keep lit candles at least 1 foot away from anything that can burn.Put lit candles on a sturdy, heat resistant, non-cluttered surface that is stable. The glass containers will get hot, do not move them when lit.The glass container will stay hot after the flame is extinguished for some time, allow to cool before moving.Don’t leave children and/or pets alone in rooms with lit candles. Keep candles out of reach of pets & children.Don’t burn candles where there are draughts.Keep wax pool free of debris.

CANDLE CARE & SAFETY

Always keep a burning candle within sight. Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Be sure the wick ember is no longer glowing.

Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc. Remove any packaging

Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.

Trim candlewicks to 1/4 inch every four hours or  each time before burning. Untrimmed wicks will build up carbon , resulting in sooting .

Always use a candle-holder specifically designed for candle use. The holder should be heat resistant, sturdy and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax.

Be sure the candle-holder is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This can help prevent heat damage to underlying surfaces and prevent glass containers from breaking. This is extremely important with glass jars!

Keep the wax pool free of wick trimming, matches and debris at all times.

Do  not burn a candle longer than 4 hours at any one time.

Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans, and air currents. This will help prevent rapid, uneven burning and avoid flame flare-ups and soothing. Drafts can also blow nearby lightweight items into the flame where they could catch fire.

Always burn candles in a well ventilated room. Don't burn too many candles in a small room or in a "tight" home where air exchange is limited.

Don't burn a candle all the way down. Extinguish the flame if it comes too close to the holder or container.

For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/2 of wax remains in your container ,burning to the very last drop.of wax can result in your glass container shattering. If the wick becomes detached when burning put it out immediately and contact us.

Never touch or move a burning candle especially a tall container as jars can become hot to touch ,especially if burnt longer than the recommended 4 hr burn .

Never move your candle when the wax is liquid.

Never use a sharp knife or sharp object to remove wax drippings from a glass holder. It may scratch, weaken or cause glass to break upon subsequent use.

Use a snuffer to extinguish a candle. It's the safest way to prevent hot wax splatters.

Never extinguish a candle with water. The water can cause the hot was to splatter and might cause a glass container to break.

Extinguish a candle if repeatedly smokes, flickers or the flame becomes too high. The candle isn't burning properly. Cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before relighting.

How To Use A Diffuser

1. Gently remove the stopper from the glass vessel.

2. Carefully place the reeds inside the vessel. All of our diffusers use fibre reeds which are naturally porous, allowing for the gradual absorption of the liquid moving up the reeds.

3. To get the most out of the reeds, Try not to flip the reeds often approx every 3 weeks would be great, as the fragrance travels up the reed to give the best effect.

4. Did you know you can control the scent level to suit your preference? The more reeds used, the stronger the scent will be. Four to five reeds work well for small rooms, or to create a more subtle scent.

5. Due to the nature of the reeds and how they become saturated with liquid, it is best to always place your diffuser on a protective plate to ensure no liquid damages surfaces. Also, take special care that the reeds do not touch painted surfaces or other materials such as wallpaper, curtains, polished or synthetic surfaces or fabrics, as this may cause staining.

Where To Place A Diffuser

1. Larger rooms may require all the reeds to be used, or more than one diffuser depending on preferred strength.

2. Smaller rooms may not need as many reeds in one vessel. Add a few to test, then increase as necessary, until the desired scent level is reached.

3. The temperature of a room is very important as higher temperatures speed up diffusion. While the strength of the scent will increase, the life of the diffuser will be shortened. Avoid placing diffusers next to radiators to prolong scent release.

Wax Melt Care Guide

Yourwax melts will produce a great scent throw for the associated melt-time, but here are a few care instructions that will ensure you maximize the life of your wax melts:

  • Store your wax melts in its container, in a cool, dry place. Ideally your wax melts should be stored away from direct light, artificial and natural, to ensure color does not fade.
  • The size of your room matters in regards to the strength of the scent throw. A larger room will require more wax melts for a strong scent throw. Our wax melts produce a great scent throw within the first 10 - 20 minutes of melting. To ensure a great scent throw, allow your wax melts to completely melt. Be sure to melt wax in a well ventilated area.
  • Do not add too many wax melts to your warmers. This may cause hazardous spills. Know the limits of your warmer before use of wax melts.
  • Remove all packaging before melting your wax.
  • Only use in tea-light warmers or UL listed electric warmers approved for wax melts. Be sure to read and follow all instructions for your warmer before first use.
  • Do not melt wax on stove or in a non-approved appliance.
  • Never leave melted wax unattended around children or pets.
  • Be sure to clear the wax surface of any dust or debris before your next melt.
  • Always cover wax after it is completely cooled. This will prevent any dust or debris from collecting on the wax's surface and causing a fire hazard. This will also ensure a great scent throw with each melt and extend the life of your wax melts.
  • Discontinue use when less than 1/2 of wax remains or wax no longer produces a scent. Melting the wax beyond this point is a fire hazard.
  • Please be sure to properly dispose of wax. Do not pour down drains or in toilet. Pour used wax back in original container. Be careful as the wax will be hot. Allow to completely cool before disposing. 5
Shake well before each use.
Always test first when spraying onto fabrics.
Do not use this product for any skin care products or as a body spray. If using in your car - make sure to only spray cloth seats ( DO NOT USE FOR LEATHER SEATS ),  Do not spray on dash or windows!  Avoid contact with eyes, keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Spray multiple times for stronger scent desire.
